Aaron Lee Stenger

     Aaron Lee Stenger, age 43, of Lake Odessa, formerly of Ovid, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Sparrow Hospital-Ionia, Michigan. 

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Houghton Chapel, Ovid, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 7, 2022, with Mr. Everett Smith officiating.  Burial will take place at Middlebury Township Cemetery, Middlebury Township, MI.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 2-8 P.M. with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

     Aaron was born in Midland, Michigan on May 9, 1979, the son of Kenneth Lee and Betty Ann (Parish) Stenger.  He graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School with the class of 1997.  On April 1, 2019, he married Michele Curto in Las Vegas, NV, and she survives him.  He owned and operated a small pole barn business.  He enjoyed riding his side by side with friends and enjoyed stock car racing. 

    He is survived by his wife Michele Stenger of Lake Odessa, MI; two children: Braxton Stenger and Sophie Beagle; his parents, Kenneth and Betty Stenger; and his sister Lucia and Dana Leydens.  He was predeceased by both sets of grandparents.
