Adam Patrick Holzhausen age 22 of Corunna, MI passed away on April 12, 2005 at Spectrum Health Regional Burn Center in Grand Rapids, MI from complications from burns he received in a house fire in Lansing on April 9th at his sister Emily and her fiancAC. Greg McCarricka�(TM)s home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 16, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel. Pastor John Downing will officiate with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, 2005 from 12:00 a�" 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, April 16, 2005 from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Adam was born on September 5, 1982 in Owosso the son of Caroline (Johnson) Lewis & Timothy Holzhausen. Adam was a welder certified in all types of welding at Baker College in Owosso. Adam loved to read. He loved animals of all kinds and they held a special place in his heart. Adam was especially loved by his longtime significant other and love of his life April Larocque. She was truly devoted to him through thick and thin, good times and bad, as he was to her. Adam was a kindhearted sensitive and loving soul.
Adam is survived by April Larocque, his mother Caroline and step-father Reginald Lewis of Corunna, Timothy Holzhausen and his significant other Virginia Slotman of Durand, sister Emily Holzhausen and fiancAC. Greg McCarrick, formerly of Lansing, now of Corunna, brother John Holzhausen and his son Raven, Adama�(TM)s favorite #1 nephew, step-brothers Brian & Lisa Lewis of Chesaning, & Sean Lewis of Florida, very special cousin Alicia (Holzhausen) & Rusty Mars, and their children Nicholas & Christopher, beloved grandmother Irene Holzhausen of Durand, uncles; Jack & Tina Johnson, Mark Johnson, David & Deb Holzhausen, Don & Sharon Holzhausen, Gene Holzhausen, and aunt Linda Durance. Adam was predeceased by special cousin Jeremy Holzhausen, grandparents Jack & Connie Johnson of Corunna, uncles Bryce Johnson of Corunna, and John Holzhausen of Owosso, aunt Judy Holzhausen of Florida, and best grandpa in Shiawassee County and beyond, George W. Holzhausen.
Memorial donations may be made to Butterworth Blodget Foundation Burn Center, Grand Rapids, MI. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
