Agatha Mankey

Agatha A. Mankey, age 86, passed away on October 29, 2014. She was born on June 27, 1928 in Fowler, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Pohl) Witgen. She married Bernard Mankey on January 12, 1949 and he preceded her in death in August of 1986. Agatha was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son Larry (Val) Mankey of Maple Rapids, three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two sisters and many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Bernard, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, David and Dale Mankey.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 1, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Williams presiding. The family will receive friends Friday, 6-8 p.m., at Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Educational Trust Fund in memory of Agatha.
