Alan Weber

Alan F. Weber passed away June 13, 2013 at the age of 78. Born July 17, 1934 in St. Johns, he was the son of Albert and Bertha (Pohl) Weber. Alan was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from Federal Mogul where he was an Industrial Engineer. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed golf.

On April 29, 1953, Alan married Patricia Smith in Wytheville, VA, where he was pitching in the Minor Leagues. Patricia preceded him in death on December 1, 2001.

Alan is survived by seven children, Shelly (Chuck) Hoffmeyer, Richard Weber, James (Denise) Weber, Diane (Ralph) Feldpausch, Susan Weber, Tom (Kelly) Weber and Cindy (Luke) Hufnagel. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, son, Michael Weber, granddaughter, Amber Rose Hufnagel and his parents.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler with Fr. Dennis Howard presiding. Burial will follow Mass at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., with the Rosary being prayed at 3 p.m. and a Scripture service held at 8 p.m., on Friday, at the Goerge Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes in Fowler. Memorial donations may be made to No More Sidelines of Central Michigan or University of Michigan Mott Children's Hospital.

The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes.
