Albert Moore

Albert Eugene Moore, age 72, of St. Johns, MI, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020, at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Duplain Church of Christ, St. Johns, MI, on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 11:00 A.M., with Mr. Chuck Emmert - Minister officiating. Maximum number of people allowed in the church is 120, masks will be required and will be provided if you do not have one.  For those not able to attend, you can view the service live stream on the Duplain Church of Christ Facebook page.  Burial will take place at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI.

Albert was born in St. Johns, MI on May 30, 1948, the son of Emery and Martha (Bancroft) Moore. He graduated from St. Johns High School with the class of 1966. Al married Kathleen "Kelly" Bellinger on July 8, 1967, in Ithaca, MI.

Al was a life long member of the Duplain Church of Christ, St. Johns, MI where he served as a Deacon and an Elder. He retired from General Motors in 1996 after 30 years of service. Al was a farmer at heart and raised livestock for many years. He loved tractors, tilling the soil and talking about the weather. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Kelly Moore of St. Johns; son Martin and Anna Moore of Vestaburg; daughter Roxanne and Robert White of St. Johns; grandchildren: Jared Moore, Gabriel Moore, Cassandra and Richard Perrien, Mary and Timothy Fleischer, Cora Harrington and Robert Sayles, Krista Moore, Brianne Moore; and great grandchildren: Tory, Ellie, and Macie Perrien, and Kassidy, Kaiden, and Sophia Fleischer. He is also survived by sister Ina and James Taylor of Eureka; brother Bruce and Eileen Moore of Laingsburg; and sister in law Aggie Moore of Fowler.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Scott Moore, and brother Tom Moore.
