Alice Weismiller

Alice Marie Weismiller, age 65, of Ithaca, MI passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI, on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Bob Norris officiating. Burial will take place at North Star Cemetery, North Star, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Alice was born in Gratiot County, Michigan on May 18, 1948, the daughter of Francis Earl and Hazel Inez (Grace) Cochran. She graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1966. Alice married Garnett "Carl" Weismiller on June 3, 1967 in Ithaca, MI. Alice was a lifelong resident of Ithaca. She retired from Gratiot Community Hospital in 2003 as an ER Admitting Clerk. She loved to read, camp, and spend time with her two granddaughters. She also loved to collect oil lanterns and bells.

Alice is survived by her husband Carl Weismiller of Ithaca, MI, daughter Tina Weismiller of Caro, MI, son Gary Weismiller of Ithaca, MI, 2 granddaughters; Kira and Corinne Weismiller, sister Ina May Banucci of Oregon, and brother Jim and Pat Cochran of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.
