Allen Bauder

Allen Eric Bauder, age 67, of Sumner, Michigan passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Steven Lang officiating. Burial will take place at Sumner Township Cemetery, Sumner, MI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Allen was born in Isabella County, Michigan on December 14, 1947, the son of Allen E. and Dorothy L. (Dangler) Bauder. On February 28, 1969 he married Sharon Lee Larson in Clare Michigan. Allen worked at Oldsmobile and General Motors in Lansing for 34 years retiring in February 2002. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Bauder, daughter Amanda and Bill Burnham of Mayville, MI, 2 sons; Eric Bauder of Sumner, MI, Todd and Tonya Bauder of Middleton, MI, 6 grandchildren; Rachelle, Ryan, Trae, Russel, Luke, and Rabecca, sister Sandra Bauder, and brother Richard and Colleen Bauder. Allen was predeceased by his parents, 1 grandson Bill Jr, and his sister Wanda Jean Bauder.
