Allen Cooper

Allen LeRoy Cooper age 71 of St. Louis, Michigan died on Friday, February 4, 2005 at Schnepp Health Care Center, St. Louis, Michigan. Memorial services will be at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis. Mr. Keith Wise will officiate.
Allen was born on September 9, 1933 in Midland County, Michigan the son of Harmon LeRoy & Crystal Marie (Miller) Cooper. He was a lifelong resident of the St. Louis Area and attended Brown Country School and St Louis Schools. On April 3, 1952 he married Vivian Nichols in Mason, Michigan. Allen retired from St. Louis Public Schools August 16, 1994, where he worked as the Transportation Director & Building & Grounds Supervisor. He was a member of Elks # 1400 Alma Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Cooper of St. Louis, MI, 4 children, Carol & Frank Pueschner, St. Louis, MI, Steven & Audrey Cooper of Beaverton, MI, Gail Cooper & fiancAC. Dave Sebring of Alma, MI,
Scott & Maria Cooper of Freedom, IN, 7 grandchildren, Clayton Snyder, Brianne Snyder, Shandel Panneton, Eric Snyder, April Cooper, Desiree Green, Johnathon Green, 5 great grandchildren, 2 sisters
Phyllis & Lawrence McGillis of St. Louis, MI, Dawn & Ron Clark of St. Louis, MI, He was predeceased by his parents, a grandson Allen Snyder in 1978.
