Alma Schmid

Alma Jayne Schmid, age 59, of Elsie, MI passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Spectrum Health Butterworth, Grand Rapids, Michigan. There will be no services held at this time.

Alma was born in St. Johns, Michigan on March 4, 1957, the daughter of Ivan and Doris (Bates) Wardwell.  Jayne resided most of her life in Elsie.  Jayne really enjoyed her time working at Lear Corporation.  She liked to work in the yard and she was an avid reader.  Jayne was a loyal friend to all.

She is survived by her parents Ivan and Doris Wardwell of Elsie, MI, sister Lesia Hebeler of Elsie, MI, niece Jodie Hebeler of Midland, MI, and nephew Michael and Nina Hebeler of Ovid, MI.  Jayne was preceded in death by her husband Scott Schmid.
