Aloysius Huss

PFC Aloysius James "AJ" Huss, age 19 of North Star, Michigan died Monday, January 3, 2011 as a result of an auto accident.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca Chapel on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Kathryn Strouse will officiate. Burial will take place in North Star Cemetery North Star, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8 at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca Chapel Ithaca, Michigan.

Aloysius was born in Alma, Michigan on July 17, 1991, the son of Douglas P. and Dora (Monahan) Huss. He resided all of his life in Ithaca and graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 2010. AJ had just joined the Marine Corps and finished boot camp in August. He was attending Ferris State University in Big Rapids. He loved cars and music and enjoyed being with his friends. AJ also enjoyed paintballing. He was a member of PiKA a fraternity at Ferris State College.

He is survived by his parents Douglas and Dora Huss of North Star, MI, 1 brother Douglas Huss II and Alisha Golden of North Star, MI, a niece Hope Huss of North Star, MI, and many aunts, uncles & cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Jim & Jackie Huss and Aloysius & Marie Monahan.
