Alton Wiltse

Alton Rex Wiltse, age 73, of Owosso, MI passed away Friday, April 2nd, 2010 at Sparrow Health Systems in Lansing, MI.

In accordance with Alton's wishes there will be no viewing or public services. Burial will take place at Middlebury Township Cemetery.

Alton was born in Perry, Michigan on May 8, 1936, the son of Raymond and Bernice (Gage) Wiltse. He attended Owosso High School. Alton married Kathryn Hyde on June 18, 1955 in Ovid, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Alton worked for Midland Ross for 26 years and then worked for Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility from 1985 until he retired in 2001. Alton was always helping other people with there projects. He was a woodworker, carpenter, but his greatest joy in life was his family and his dog Sophie. He resided all of his life in the Owosso area. Alton was a member of the N.R.A. and the AARP.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn; two children Raymond and Becky Wiltse of Ovid; Kim and Dennis Carroll of Owosso; two grandchildren Zachariah Wiltse and Justin Carroll; one sister Beverly Collard of Owosso; two brothers Gary Wiltse of Arizonia; Richard and Gladys Wiltse of Gaines, MI; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
