Amber Christine Louise Harter age 17 of St. Louis, MI died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Saginaw St. Mary's Hospital Saginaw, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. Pastor Ron Woolsey will officiate with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2005 from 6-8 P.M. & Friday, April 29, 2005 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Amber was born in Yuma, Arizona on February 6, 1988 the daughter of Arthur Harter and Deborah Taylor. She resided most of her life in St. Louis, MI. She attended Horizons School in St. Louis, MI. In the past she had participated in volleyball & band at St. Louis High School. She loved to spend time with family and friends. She also enjoyed photography and was a huge music fan. She liked to go cruising in her car. Amber was a wonderful aunt, and loved her nieces & nephews greatly. She was a past member of Resurrection Life Church where she was active in participating in various activities.
Amber is survived by her father Arthur Harter of St. Louis, MI, mother Debbie Taylor, 2 sisters; Tiffany Andrews of St. Louis, MI, Toni Harter of Edmore, MI, brother Jason Harter of St. Louis, MI, step-sister Tonya Proctor of Elwell, MI, 8 nieces & nephews;Trevor, Troy, Talishiea, Trysten, Ashley, James, Danny, & Arjay grandparents; Ruth Harter of Alma, MI, and Bob & Myrna Taylor of Idaho, Great Grandpa & Great Grandma Fish aunts; Beverly, Elizabeth, & Connie, uncles; Allen, Butch, & Mike, and her Aunt Jacque. She is predeceased by her grandfather Stanley Harter & an uncle Archie Harter.
Memorials may be made to Horizons Schools. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
