Angeline Henrietta Roby age 84 of Owosso, Michigan died December 7, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center, Flint, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Fuenral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM. with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.
Angeline was born in Fremont, Michigan on March 18, 1923 the daughter of Henry and Anna (Bowman) Hinken. She lived in Owosso since 1944 and attended and graduated from Fremont High School with the class of 1941. Angeline was the pastry chef at the Owosso City Club for 25 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Corunna, she served with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program thru the SCOA and was a volunteer at the Owosso Public Library. Angeline was a member of First Baptist Church of Corunna, Michigan. . She is survived by her daughter: Sharon (Alan) Koenigsknecht of St. Johns, Michigan, granddaughter: Tracy (Dennis) Farmer of Clio, Michigan, grandson, Steven Roby of Flint, Michigan, 2 great grandsons: D J & R J Farmer, sister: Bea Dornbos of Ludington, Michigan, 2 brothers: Darwin (Susan) Hinken of Whitehall, Michigan, George (Hilde) Hinken of Lacey, Washington, several nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, son, Robert Roby, 3 sisters Grace, Kay & Merna.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Corunna, Michigan or S.C.O.A. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, Michigan
