Anna Attenberger

Anna Attenberger, age 90, of Owosso, MI passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church Owosso, MI on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Fr. David Fisher will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Theresa Cemetery, Marion Springs, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 1, 2011 from 4:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home with a Rosary being prayed at 6:00 P.M.

Anna was born in Marion Springs, Michigan on May 4, 1921, the daughter of Andrew and Bertha (Morbitzer) Frasle. Anna resided most of her life in the Marion Springs area and attended Oak Grove School. Anna married Clarence Attenberger on April 18, 1942 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Merrill, MI. Clarence passed away on July 30, 1973.

Anna was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Owosso where she was a member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, gardening and loved to play bingo. Anna also enjoyed cooking, baking and canning.

She is survived by her daughter Maryann Bloomfield of Owosso, MI, daughter Geraldine and James Miller of Corunna, MI, grandchildren; Scott and Sandy Miller, Jon and Sally Miller, Annmarie Bloomfield, great-grandchildren; Chelsea, Connor, Cadie, Chris, Jacob, Heather, Autumn, brother Charley Frasle, sister-in-law Genevieve Frasle, and many loving nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clarence, brothers; Joseph, Reynold, Frank & Leo Frasle and sisters; Rose Gedraitis and Mary Bearup.
