Anna Marie Carter

Age 79 of St. Louis, Michigan died Monday, November 10, 2003 at her home. She was a homemaker and an avid reader and loved animals.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Alma, Michigan at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Jim Bear will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Anna was born October 9, 1924 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan the daughter of George and Mary (Wicks) McCliggott. She graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1942. On May 6, 1961 she married Theodore C. Carter in Breckenridge, Michigan. Theodore died August 31, 1989. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Alma and resided most of her life in St. Louis, Michigan.
Survivors include her brother, Francis & Jo McCliggott of Pinconning, Michigan, 1 sister Edna Diehl of Davison, Michigan and many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband and 2 brothers Bernard & Dale. Memorial can be sent to First Baptist Church in Alma, Michigan in her memory. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, Chapel.
