Anna Helen Kravcsik age 96 of Bannister, Michigan died December 12, 2005 at Ashley Healthcare Center, Ashley, Michigan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cyrila�(TM)s Catholic Church, Bannister, Michigan on Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. Rev. Fr. Wolfgang Streichardt will officiate with burial at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13 from 6-8 P.M. & Wednesday, December 14 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Anna was born in Luborca, Slovensko Czechoslovakia on January 5, 1909 the daughter of John & Katerina A. ( Mindar ) Sipka. She came to the U.S.A. November 1911, she attended school until the 8th grade, she resided in Flint, Michigan until 1952, when she moved to Bannister, Michigan. Anna married Michael P. Ribarchik, to that union they had 3 children, On December 20, 1952 she married Joseph Kravcsik in Owosso, Michigan, he predeceased her on April 15, 1981. She was a member of St. Cyrila�(TM)s Catholic Church, Bannister, the Altar Society, and a life member of the Slovak Catholic Federation of America. Anna had started her work career at a laundry in St. Johns, Michigan, She then went to work for AC Spark Plug in Flint Michigan for 17 A½ years, now known as Delphi E. She had quit there to take care of her mother. She was a polka loving lady who enjoyed dancing and attending polka fests and dances. She also enjoyed her many varieties of flowers, taking care of her vegetable and flower garden and manicured lawn. She made the best lemon meringue pie, kolache, poppy seed rolls and fudge. She would crochet every evening so many doilies and give them away, plus other items, until she had to have carpal tunnel surgery.

She is survived by 1 daughter Frances & Lewis Kalocy of Flint, Michigan, 1 son James & Mildred Ribarchik of Swartz Creek, Michigan, 1 daughter in law Dolores Ribarchik of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, 12 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 20 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 2 step great great grandchildren and 1 sister Josephine Follett of Ashley, Michigan. She was predeceased by her parents, 1 son Michael, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 1 sister & 2 brothers.

Memorials may be made to St. Cyrila�(TM)s Catholic Church, Bannister, Michigan. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
