Anna M. Kristin age 86 of Elsie, Michigan died Monday, July 24, 2006 at Memorial Healthcare Center Owosso, MI.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church Bannister, MI on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Fr. Wolfgang Streichardt will officiate with burial at Ford Cemetery Elsie, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 from 2-8 P.M. with familly present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.

Anna was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on November 23, 1919 the daughter of Paul and Anna ( Tatka ) Pontack. She resided most of her life in the Elsie area. Anna married John Kristin on May 21, 1938 at St. Cyril's Catholic Church Bannister, MI. He died on October 19, 1977. She retired from Universal Electric in Owosso. She attended a Lunch Club, on a monthly basis, with ladies who worked for Universal Electric. Anna was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, MI, the VFW Auxillary, and the Altar Society of St. Cyril's Catholic Church , Bannister, MI.

She is survived by her daughter Diane & Joseph Courter of Elsie, MI, son Dennis & Janice Kristin of St. Johns, MI, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, twin sister Pauline Hanus of Ashley, MI, and many nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, 1 son Kevin James, 5 sisters, and 4 brothers.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, Michigan.
