Anna R. Stambersky, age 96, of Ithaca, Michigan, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Carson City Hospital, Carson City, Michigan

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca Chapel Ithaca, MI on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Fr. Jules Spleet will officiate. Burial will take place at Ithaca Cemetery Ithaca, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, 1333 East Center St. Ithaca, Michigan.

Anna was born in Pennsylvania on November 5, 1913, and had married Rudolph Stambersky who passed away in 1968. They moved to Ithaca from Detroit in 1942. Anna had worked on their family farm and for 3 years she worked at Wolverine Shoe in Ithaca, Michigan. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church Ithaca, Michigan.

Survivors include her son Michael and Jacquelyn Stambersky of Grant, Michigan, brother Carl Stambersky of Detroit, Michigan, special niece Pauline Sourek of Ashley, Michigan and a grandson Tim and Kristine Stambersky of Ithaca, Michigan. She is also survived by many grandchildren & great grandchildren and nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, 3 brothers.
