Anne P. Kusalik age 83 of Ithaca, Michigan died Monday, November 21, 2005 at Pine River Healthcare Center St. Louis, MI.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church Alma, MI on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Fr. Kevin Maksym will officiate with burial at Emerson Township Cemetery Emerson Township, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday Evening at 5:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Anne was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on May 8, 1922 the daughter of Joseph and Anna ( Taloba ) Slossar. She was a life long resident of Ithaca and attended Barnes Country School. Anne married Stanley Kusalik at St. Mary's Catholic Chruch, Alma, MI on June 7, 1941. He died June 28, 1985. She worked as a waitress at Coney Island and Bill's Lunch, both in Alma. She loved Polka music and dancing, and she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Chruch, Alma, MI and Moose Lodge #1566.

She is survived by her daughter Diane & Jerry Kirkey of Alma, MI, 2 grandchildren; David Chubb of Milford, MI, Sheri & Chad Alward of Grand Rapids, MI, 3 great grandchildren; Hailee, Brec, and Justin, 5 step grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, sister Rose Edgar of Alma, MI, and sister-in-law Mary Kusalik of Florida. She is predeceased by her parents, husband and 2 sisters Liz Fletcher, Katherine Juricak.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alma, MI. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel, 117 North East Street, St. Louis, MI 48880.
