Anne McCollum, age 89, of Owosso, MI passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, MI.
A Graveside Service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon, MI on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 1:00 P.M., Rev. David R. Strobe will officiate.
Anne was born in Fenton, Michigan on December 5, 1920, the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth (Nebes) Vreibel. She attended Corunna Schools. Anne married Cass McCollum on June 15, 1940 in Indiana. Anne worked for Redmond's in Owosso for several years. She enjoyed collecting dolls, gardening and spending time with family. She resided most of her life in the Shiawassee County area. Anne was a member of the Vernon United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters; Jane and Gary Roe of Cheboygan, MI, Janet Redford of Owosso, MI, three grandchildren; David and Kelly Roe, William and Jennifer Redford, Andrea Redford, three great grandchildren; Blake Roe, Harley Roe, Dawson Roe, and one sister Lillian and Frank Lorenz. She was predeceased by her husband Cass, one brother Samuel Vreibel and one sister Bessie Prior.
