Annetta Louise Beracy, age 92, of Ithaca, Michigan passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Mid Michigan Medical Center, Midland, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor John Jakus officiating.  Burial will take place at North Star Cemetery North Star, Michigan.  Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Annetta was born in Flint, Michigan on March 4, 1924, the daughter of Jack and Mary (Siegle) Amont.  She graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1942.  On May 11, 1943 she married Dale R. Smith in Memphis, Tennessee where he was stationed in the Army. They were married 35 years when Dale died in 1978.  She later married Rudy Beracy, they were married for 20 years until his death in 2009.  During W.W.II she worked in war factories. After the war she had numerous jobs and had worked in the office for Wolverine Shoe Factory in Ithaca, Michigan, retiring in 1981.

She is survived by 3 sons; Charles and Beverly Smith of St. Louis, Michigan, Michael and Patti Smith of Ithaca, Michigan, Rodney and Deb Smith of Ithaca, Michigan, 7 grandchildren; Kurt and Marianne Smith, Hal Smith, Jenny Everitt, Richelle and Aaron Davis, Michelyn and Ben Crowley, Nicole and Dave Kirby, Danielle and Steve Marr, 18 great grandchildren, 1 sister Joyce Harrison, and sister-in-law Shirley Smith.  She was predeceased by her parents, both husbands, sister Loreen Seeger, and sister in law Neola Crawford.

Memorials may be made to Gratiot County Commission on Aging.
