Annie Wirt
On Sunday morning February 26, 2012, Annie Louise (Clyne) Wirt peacefully passed from life on earth to a glorious heavenly party awaiting her. Annie would have been delighted to see her children Connie and Barrie, also Frank her longtime husband and father of their five children. Her second husband, Kenneth March would be awaiting and happy to see Annie. Sisters, Lillian, Gwen, Eileen and brother Gordon would be there happily awaiting Annie's arrival. Annie's parents, Violet and Alexander Clyne would be at the front of the line along with Jimmy and Kevin Warren.
A Memorial Service will be held at First Congregational Church Owosso, MI on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. John Walworth officiating.
Annie was extremely proud of her Canadian and Scottish heritage having been born in Desford, Manitoba, Canada on November 4, 1926. Her children would often hear her singing, "God Save the Queen."
She sends special love to her dear friends, Dick, June and Betty. Surviving children include her sons; Alex (Judy) Wirt of Kingsport, TN and Richard (Della) Wirt of Ovid, MI, daughter, Rosalie Heberlein of Lansing, MI, daughter-in-law, Alice Andryc, her 11 grandchildren were the joys of her life - Paul, Jeremy, Rick, Rachel, Michelle, Leon, Lizzy, Kelly, Peter, Mary Anne and Jennifer. Annie's great grandchildren put a special smile on her face as she loved them so much. She also leaves her two remaining sisters, Georgina and Gladys.
Her family expresses a special thank you to the staff of Hospice House of Mid-Michigan on the St. Lawrence Campus of Sparrow Health System. She was there such a short time but the entire staff was so loving and wonderful to Annie. Annie was a long standing (40 year) member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bay City and in recent years attended First Congregational Church in Owosso, MI.
