Anton Gregor

Anton 'Tony' Gregor, age 83, of Elsie, MI passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ray Strawser and Pastor Dave Ward officiating. Burial will take place at Fairfield Township Cemetery, Fairfield Township, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M.. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI.

Anton was born in Chapin Township, Michigan on October 8, 1931, the son of Valent and Cecelia (Thoma) Gregor. Tony married Doris Janes on September 25, 1954 in Owosso, MI. Tony resided most of his life in the Elsie area. Tony was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed family reunions, summer months and gardening.

He is survived by his wife Doris Gregor of Elsie, MI, 2 sons; Gary Gregor of Owosso, MI, Gene Gregor of Elsie, MI, grandchildren; Brandee and Tom Powrie, Krista and Greg Pierce, Pamela Johnson, Megan and Terry Densmore, Chad and Jamie Gregor, Derek Gregor and 11 great grandchildren.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Shelby, siblings; Valent, Joe, Mary, John, Steve, Anna.
