Arlene Smith

Arlene Barbara Smith, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at her home in St. Johns, MI.

Arlene was born in Clinton County, MI on August 21, 1931, the daughter of Harry and Jessie (Payne) Conley.

She married Stuart M Smith on October 10, 1948 in St. Johns.

Arlene was involved in genealogy with the St. John's Historical Society, the Mount Rest Cemetery Association, and she enjoyed working at the Senior Citizen Center in St. Johns.

Arlene is survived by her daughter Cindy and Michael Wright of Fowler, MI; son Jeffrey and Lisa Smith of St. Johns, MI; brother Edgar Conley of St. Johns, MI.  She is also survived by her grandchildren: Spencer and Melissa Wright, Michelle Wright, Melissa and Aaron Hetherington, Marla Buonodono, Barry Smith, Tyler Smith, Andrea Orth, Rachel Reyes, Devin Smith, Tyson Smith, Taya Smith, and many great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, son Barry Smith, daughter and son-in-law: Wendy and Anthony Buonodono, two great-granddaughters: Stacy Wright and Cindy Buonodono, and her sister Pauleen Spiece.
