Arlie Dee Braman

   Arlie Dee Braman, age 78, of Ovid, MI, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 21, 2024, at his home with his family by his side.

      In following Arlie's wishes, a cremation has taken place and there will be a private family memorial service at a later date.

      Arlie was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on January 3, 1946, the son of Donald Keith and Myrtle Arlene (Elwood) Braman. He graduated from Laingsburg High School with the Class of 1963. Arlie proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked for General Motors for over 31 years, retiring in 1999.  On July 17, 1993, Arlie married Jennifer Lynn Cole in Laingsburg, Michigan. They have been married thirty years.

      Arlie loved his family. They were his top priority. He enjoyed his years as a Navy Navigator/Photographer and telling of his adventures. He liked fishing, hunting, and working on cars. Arlie truly enjoyed playing cards, especially Solitaire, Euchre, and Cribbage. Haley has special memories of playing Rummy together.

      He is survived by his wife Jennifer, two daughters: Miranda (Bryant) Goodrich of Ovid, MI; and Haley (Steven) Adair of Ovid, MI; four sons: Timothy (Darlene) Braman of Ovid, MI; Shawn (Angie) Braman of Ravenna, MI; Troy (Tracy) Braman of White Lake, MI; and Steve Braman of Laingsburg, MI; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother David (Karen) Braman, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Myrtle (Fred) Howorth, father Donald Braman, brother Ano Elwood, and sister Bernice James
