Arnold P. Wieber, of Fowler and formerly of Pewamo, died December 24, 2009 at the age of 90. Arnold was born August 15, 1919 in Fowler, MI to William and Clara (Knoop) Wieber. He was a farmer and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo. On May 15, 1945 Arnold married Dorothy Smith and she preceded him in death.

Surviving are his children; Phyllis (Ronald) Simon, Marie Wieber, John (Cheryl) Wieber, Bernita (Larry) Schafer, Lucille (Ron) Smith, Jan (Henry) Klein, Gladys (Dennis) Simon, Arlene (Ashley) Jones, Doris (John) Cook, Theresa (Gene) Pohl, Elaine (Scott) Larson, and Bruce (Judy) Wieber; 28 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Romilda Pung; brothers, Gerald (Doris) Wieber, Rev. Fr. Donald Wieber; and many nieces and nephews.

Arnold was preceded in death by his wife; parents; granddaughter, Sarah Jones; sisters, Sis. Bernita Wieber, Sis. Esther Wieber, Irene Thelen, Magdalen Armbrustmacher; brothers, Rev. Fr. Elmer Wieber, and Eugene Wieber.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Monday, December 28, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo with Rev. Fr. Charlon Mason officiating and the Rev. Fr. Donald Wieber co-celebrating, burial at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery in Fowler. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday at the Goerge Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes in Fowler. A Rosary will be prayed at 8 PM Saturday and 3 PM Sunday and a Vigil Service will be held 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Sympathy may be expressed in the form of memorial contributions to the St. Joseph Catholic School Educational Trust Fund in Pewamo. Arrangements through the Osgood Funeral Homes.
