Arthur Knute Sjoberg, age 67, of Ovid, Michigan died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Johns Chapel St. Johns, MI on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Johns Chapel, St. Johns, MI.

Art was born in Escanaba, Michigan on December 17, 1942, the son of Art and Earleen (Schultz) Sjoberg. He graduated from Eastern High School, Lansing, Michigan. He served his country in the US Army and was a member of the VFW Post #8964 in Ovid. Art resided most of his life in the St. Johns and Ovid area. Art retired in 2006 from the Clinton County Sheriff's Department were he worked as a corrections officer. He enjoyed NASCAR, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, and he also enjoyed participating in the VFW and tinkering in his garage.

He is survived by 1 daughter Deanna (Webb) Causey, 2 sons; Pat Webb & Larry Briggs, his former spouse, Kathy Preston, 6 grandchildren and many other friends, relatives and acquaintances. He was predeceased by his parents.
