Audrey Schepler

Audrey Jean Schepler, age 64, of St. Johns, MI passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns, MI on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. with Pastor Keith Whipple officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:30 A.M until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Audrey was born in Rogers City, Michigan on August 19, 1950, the daughter of John and Hazel (Richardson) Gordon. She graduated from Rogers City High School with the class of 1969. She married Mark Schepler on August 21, 1971 in Rogers City, MI.

Audrey enjoyed playing piano and traveling especially to their family cottage at Lake May. She loved cooking, baking and golfing. Her family and grandchildren were her passion. She was a member of Eureka Christian Church, Women's Fellowship and also the secretary. Audrey was also a secretary at Dr. McDonald's office in St. John's for many years.

She is survived by her husband Mark Schepler, her children; Stacey and Dana Jones, Mark II and Jenifer Schepler, Eric and Tiffany Schepler, Megan and Aaron Lomonaco, grandchildren; Whitney and Matt Knoll, Dylan Jones, Zackary, Madison and Abbygail Schepler, Hayden and Harper Schepler, great grandchildren Emma and James Knoll and sister Ruthella and George Deane.

She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father in law Margaret and Robert Schepler and her sister Linda Wyant.
