Barbara Cook

Barbara Elizabeth Cook, age 83, of Owosso, Michigan died Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel on Friday, May 11th at 1:00 P.M. , Pastor Billie Lou Gillespie-Brown will officiate.
Burial will take place at Fairfield Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday 4-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Barbara was born in Gratiot County, Michigan on December 11, 1928, the daughter Alfred and Anna Laura (Lepley) Monroe. she graduated from Ithaca High School. She had resided most of her life in Ithaca, and Chapin area.

On August 13, 1966 Barbara married Lloyd E. Cook at the Church of God in Ithaca, Michigan. Lloyd predeceased her. Barbara was a homemaker and she was a Boy Scout Leader for over 25 years and she volunteered at Clinton Memorial Hospital for 3 years. She was a former Sunday school teacher and really had a heart for children. She had always hoped she made a difference.
Barbara resided most of her life in Ithaca, and Chapin area.
