Barbara Beatrice Duvall age 77 of Owosso, Michigan died February 21, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center, Flint, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church Owosso, MI on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Pastor David Woodby will officiate with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Monday 2 to 8 p.m. with the family present 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
Barbara was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 18, 1930 the daughter of Roger Erwin and Beatrice Genevieve ( Sanderson ) Bennett. She resided in Owosso since 1954. She graduated from Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio with the class of 1947 and she was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Toledo, Ohio. Barbara married Donald K. Duvall on September 24, 2955 at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Toledo, Ohio. He passed away in 1985. Barbara worked as a nurse at Memorial Healthcare for 16 years and then retired from Pleasant View Medical Care Facility after 18 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling. Barbara was a life member of Redeemer Lutheran Church as well as a member of the Abigail Chapter #206 Order of Eastern Stars.
She is survived by her 2 sons; Roger & Ila Duvall of Independence, MO, Dan Duvall of Toledo, OH, daughter Bonnie Duvall of Owosso, MI, grandchildren; David & Eric Duvall, Kenny Roggerman, Anndrea Roggerman, great grandson Damien Lee Beehler, cousin Ursula Podzinski, and special friend Marilyn Baumgras. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, and one sister.
Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Toledo, Ohio. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
