Barbara Colleen Phillips age 78 of Owosso, Michigan died Saturday, February 02, 2008 at Memorial Healthcare Center in Owosso, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons chapel on Thursday, February 07, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Duane Harris will officiate. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 05, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. and Wednesday, February 06, 2008 from 2-8 P.M. with the family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M on both days
Barbara was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 21, 1929 in Owosso, Michigan the daughter of Glen W. & Emma (Miller) Binger. She was a life long resident of Owosso, Michigan and she graduated from Owosso High School with the class of 1947. She was a homemaker and she enjoyed gardening. She also enjoyed helping elderly people who were shut in with their everyday needs. She was also a member of Corunna V.F.W. Post #4005 in Corunna, Michigan. Barbara was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Owosso, Michigan.
She is survived by her son Richard Phillips Jr. & Cathy Duke of Owosso, Michigan, 1 brother; Gary Binger of Owosso, Michigan 2 nieces; Sharon Skok, Tina Binger, 2 nephews; Brad Binger and Scott Binger, 1 sister in-law; Hazel Binger. She was predeceased by her parents, husband; Richard, 1 son; Jeffrey W. Phillips, 2 brothers; Lester and Robert.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Owosso, Michigan. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel.
