Beatrice Acton-Fisher

Beatrice Arlene Acton-Fisher, age 82, of Breckenridge, MI passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Breckenridge United Methodist Church on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Paul Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.

Beatrice was born in Emerson Township, Michigan on March 30, 1931, the daughter of George and Leona (Solomon) Coston. Beatrice married James Royal Acton on March 25, 1950. He preceded her in death on September 13, 1989. On December 4, 2004, Beatrice married Arthur Fisher.

Bea was a member of the Breckenridge United Methodist Church for 53 years. She was very good at knitting and crocheting. She sewed pillows & blankets for the Gratiot Community Hospital for many years. She enjoyed traveling and dancing. She loved spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her husband Art Fisher, daughter Linda (Thomas) Carstensen, son Gregory (Karen) Acton, grandchildren; Amy (Marcus) O'Brien, Jason (Tracy) Carstensen, Amber (Matthew) Torline, Justin (Serena) Acton, Kyle (Danielle) Acton, 9 great grandchildren, sister Helen (William) Morris, and brothers; Leo (Lois) Coston & Ronald (Ruthann) Coston. Bea was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband James Acton, son Mark David Acton.
