Beatrice A. Lindburg age 89 of Owosso, Michigan died December 29, 2007 at Ovid Healthcare Center.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Norman Beckwith Sr. will officiate with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday from 2-8 P.M.,
Beatrice was born in Owosso, Michigan on July 28, 1918 the daughter of Eugene & Grace (Taphouse) Parker. She resided most of her life in Owosso, Michigan. Beatrice married Joseph W. Lindburg on November 6, 1934 in Angola, Indiana, he passed away on March 25, 1969. She volunteered at Corunna Public Library for 15 years and she was retired from Midwest Abrasive in Owosso. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a big part of her life. Beatrice was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 50 years.
She is survived by 3 children, Joyce A. & James Floate of Owosso, Gail M. & Owen Toomey of Rapid City, Phillip R. & Kathy Johnson of Battle Creek, MI, 8 great-grandchildren, Timothy, Justin, Katie, Sarah, Nathan, Rebecca, Paige and Grace, several nieces & nephews She was predeceased by her parents, her husband in 1969, stillborn daughter, Patricia Ann Lindburg, sister; Blanche Otto, 2 brothers, Don Parker & Lester Parker, and 1 sister in infancy Janice Parker.
Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church in Owosso, Michigan. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso.
