Beatrice "Bea" Pearl Miller McNeal, age 97, of Alma, MI passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at Masonic Pathways, Alma, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, MI on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Keith Wise officiating. Burial will take place at Midland Memorial Garden, Midland, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Beatrice was born in Midland County, Michigan on July 31, 1917, the daughter of Charles E. and Carrie (Holiday) Lyon.
Bea married Carl Miller on August 17, 1936; he passed away in October of 1972. On July 7, 1984 Bea married Wilbur McNeal; he passed away August of 2011. She resided most of her life in the Breckenridge and St. Louis areas. Bea worked at Detroit Mobile Homes for several years and also at Gratiot Community Hospital as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed painting, reading and riding motorcycles. She was a member of the St. Louis Church of Christ, St. Louis, MI.
She is survived by her children; Bonita and Wayne Haut, Gary and Gaila Miller, Brenda and Duane Huntoon, Marvin and Debbie Miller, Charlene and Bobby Mollema, daughter in law Evelyn Miller, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, son Doug Miller, granddaughter Andrea Miller, 5 brothers and 1 sister.
