Bernadette Pung

Bernadette M. Pung, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the age of 80. Bernadette was born February 1, 1930 in Dallas Twp. to William and Julie (Stump) Theis. Bernadette was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She married Donald William Pung in Fowler, Michigan, on February 15, 1950 and he survives her.

Also surviving are daughters, Sue (Jim) Thelen and Sharon (Chris) Fink; sons, Dale (Linda) Pung and Randy (Deanna) Pung; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Bernadette is also survived by her sister, Joan Platte; brother, Julius (Marilyn) Theis and sister-in-law, Germaine Pohl. Bernadette was preceded in death by her parents, son, Gary Pung, brother, Jerome Theis and brother-in-law, Kenneth Platte.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler, burial will follow at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Goerge Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes in Fowler 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday with a rosary at 8 pm and 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Sunday with Rosaries at 3 p.m amd 8 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of memorials to the American Diabetes Association, Sparrow Hospice House of Mid Michigan or a charity of the donor's choice.
