Bernard Albring

Bernard LeRoy "Stub" Albring, 83, of Ashley, MI, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019, at his home.

In following Bernard's wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.

Bernard was born in Owosso, MI on March 17, 1936, the son of Charles Bernard and Delsie Elsie (Brayshaw) Albring. On November 5, 1955, Stub married Shirley Ann Richter in Burton, MI. They celebrated 64 years of marriage prior to his death.

Stub enjoyed mowing and doing yard work.  He liked to walk in the woods.  Stub loved his family and was always willing to help them out.

He worked at Oak Hill Cemetery for many years and was a member of Fenmore Baptist Church.

Bernard is survived by his wife Shirley Albring of Ashley, and 4 children: Tammy Milliman of Ashley, MI; Judy (Ken) Taylor of Chesaning, MI; Bernard (Wendy) Albring of Owosso, MI; and LeRoy Albring of Ashley, MI. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Lori Milliman, Stacey Milliman, Michelle Albring, Kimberly (Todd) Tessman, Charles (Mandy)Albring, Carrie Chism, Justin Andrews, and Danielle Albring; and 6 great grandchildren: Shannon Lester, Britney Albring, Hanah Tessman, Chad Albring, Natalie Albring, and Nevaeh Reist.  Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Delsie Ann Albring, grandson Bradley Albring, and 5 siblings: Bernice Nichols, Bethel Bearden, Doylen Albring, Jerry Albring, and Delsie Mae Albring.
