Bertha T. (Skodak) Dann, age 94, of Owosso, MI passed away Friday, November 20, 2009 at Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility, Corunna, MI.

Bertha was born in New Haven Township, Michigan on March 4, 1915, the daughter of John F. and Theresa (Bergl) Skodak. Bertha attended Chesaning Union High School and resided in Owosso since 1938.
Bertha married Robert Dann on September 9, 1938 in Angola, IN. Robert passed away April 27, 1976. After high school she worked for Peet Packing Company in Chesaning. Bertha and her husband owned and operated the Evergreen Dairy for many years. Bertha also was employed by D.M. Christian, J.C. Penney and Ventrola all of Owosso. She was a member of the Memorial Healthcare Ladies Auxiliary, volunteering for 20 years and a member of the Eagles Aerie #851. Bertha enjoyed bowling and golfing.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Janice and Frank Kolarik of Owosso, MI, Roberta and Frank Spadafora of Gilroy, CA, 2 sons; James and Joann Dann of Flushing, MI, Daryl and Debra Dann of Ocala, FL, sister Emma Eicher of Corunna, MI, brother Edward and Alberta Skodak of Chesaning, MI, brother-in-law John & Alice Dann of Corunna, 2 sisters-in-law Betty Slocum of Ludington, MI, and Maxine Dann of Tuscon, AZ. Bertha is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
