Bette Jeanne (Moats) Daley, age 74, of Durand, MI passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Durand Senior Care & Rehab Center, Durand, MI.

A Memorial Service will be held at McCurdy Park Historical Chapel on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Marty Guy will officiate.

Bette was born in Owosso, Michigan on May 20, 1938, the daughter of Michael and Margaret (Pappenfuss) Moats. She was a graduate of Corunna High School graduate and resided most of her life in Perry and Corunna. Bette belonged to the Red Hats Club in Kentucky. She was a waitress & bartender at many local restaurants. Bette also loved to shop. She was a member of the Corunna VFW Post #4005 Ladies Auxiliary and St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Corunna.

She is survived by 2 sisters; Connie (Robert) Klatt of Owosso, MI, Melody Kretzschmer of Corunna, MI, 3 step sisters; Martine (Larry) Guy of Flint, MI, Margaret (Dennis) Zitterkoph of Farwell, MI, Dana (Butch) VanHouton of Farwell, MI, 3 step brothers; Dan (Priscilla) Gardner of Mississippi, Don (Romaine) Gardner of Swartz Creek, MI, Duane (Delores) Gardner of Flint, MI, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bette was preceded in death by her parents Michael Moats & Margaret Gardner, step father Martin Gardner, sister Pauline J. Eva and step sister Pamela Bennett.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, but floral deliveries may be made to the park chapel after 12:00 on Friday.
