Betteann S. (McDaid) McClintic

     Betteann S. McClintic, age 89, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022, at Riverside Healthcare Center in St. Louis, MI.

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 11, 2022, with Dr. Keith Wise officiating.  Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.

     Betteann was born in Ashley, Michigan on July 3, 1933, the daughter of Floyd Alexander and Marie Martha (Urban) McDaid.  She graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1951.  On December 7, 1951, Betteann married Carl L. McClintic.  They celebrated 63 years of marriage prior to his passing on October 29, 2015.

     She loved her grandchildren and supporting them in their activities. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, and going to garage sales. She liked to play cards with friends.

    She is survived by two sons: Dr. David (Linda) McClintic of The Villages, FL; and Joseph (Julie) McClintic of St. Louis, MI; daughter-in-law Terry Stadtfeld; six grandchildren: Julienne McClintic, Gina Green, Matthew Stadtfeld, Brittany (Norcellden) Daniels, Carlee (Michael) Gruizinga, and Thomas (Heather) McClintic; five great-grandchildren: Eleanor, Nilynn, Leilani, Lindsey, and Sarah; brother Edwin (Joanna) McDaid, sister Mavis Fisher, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, son Edwin, and one brother William McDaid.
