Betty Ehm

Betty Jo "Jo" Ehm age 78 of Mason, MI, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Skilled Nursing-Medilodge of East Lansing, East Lansing, MI.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.

Jo was born in Scottsbluff, NE on August 9, 1940 the daughter of Ralph and Audrey (Sample) Swedberg.  Jo resided most of her life in Anchorage, AK but spent her later years in Nebraska.

Jo loved sports and was an avid L.A. Lakers fan and loved Husker football, and men's and women's basketball.  She loved listening to Dr. David Jeremiah and watching church services from Anchorage, AK.  Jo had many fond memories of her childhood in Nebraska and loved talking about that time.  She was proud of her job at Safeway Grocery Store in Anchorage. She loved kittens and always had one for a pet.  Jo accepted Jesus as her Savior at a young age and always reminded people how important that decision was.

She is survived by her son Kevin and Sherri Ehm of Anchorage, AK; son Kraig and Celeste Ehm of Laingsburg, MI; daughter Kim and Donald Ross of Clark, MO; 8 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother John and Karen Swedberg of Brazil; brother Tom and JoLynn Swedberg of Kentwood, MI; sister Mary and Ron Byers of Denver, CO; sister Becky Young of Denver, CO;  and brother Jim and Carole Swedberg of Denver, CO.  Jo was preceded in death by her parents.
