Betty Miller

Betty Jane Miller, 87, passed away on March 30, 2011. Betty was born on September 18, 1923 in Ionia Michigan, the daughter of Lewis and Susan (Soule) Selleck. Betty married Gordon Miller in Ionia on June 27, 1942 and he preceded her in death on July 31, 1997. Betty was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fowler, as well as a member of their Lady's Aid Society. Betty Jane was the last survivor of 13 children.

Betty is survived by her sons, Ronald (Sharon) Miller, David (Ardith) Miller, Stephen (Roberta) Miller, grandchildren, Lisa (David) Warnke, Teresa (Mike) Kress, Sherry (Ed) Barrett, David Jr. (Bobbie Jo) Miller, Jeff (Marlena) Miller, Brian (Elizabeth) Miller, Scott (Amie) Miller, Jennifer (Scott) Katich, Melissa Long, 20 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at East Plains Cemetery, with Pastor Paul Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9p.m., Thursday at The Goerge Chapel of The Osgood Funeral Homes, in Fowler. Contributions may be made in Betty's name to St. Paul Lutheran Church. The family was served by The Osgood Funeral Homes.
