Betty Nicholson

Betty J. ( Zelinsky ) Nicholson age 83 of Mason, Michigan formerly of Crystal & Alma, Michigan died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at her home.
Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Ferris Center Cemetery, 3443 N. Crystal Road, Vestaburg, MI 48891.
Betty was born on June 19, 1921 the daughter of Elton & Ethel ( Markham ) Andrews. She graduated from Perrinton High School. She married LeRoy Nicholson on December 7, 2000 in Lakeland, FL. She retired from Wolverine Shoe Factory in Ithaca, MI. She also owned and operated Bettya�(TM)s CafAC. in Crystal, MI for many years. She was a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #5065 in Sheridan, MI. She resided most of her life in Crystal & Alma, Michigan moving to Mason about 4 years ago.
Survivors include her husband LeRoy Nicholson of Mason, MI, 2 daughters Wanda & Ralph Them of Ithaca, MI, Tamara & Walter Wallace of Lansing, MI, 2 sons Vaughn & Maureen Zelinsky of Scotland, Richard Zelinsky of Crystal, MI, 6 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters Theresa & Virginia & 1 brother Theil.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lansing. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel.
