Betty Ryckman

Betty Jean Ryckman, 87, of Riverdale, MI, passed away Friday, September 16, 2016, at Woodland Hospice House, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Private services will take place.
Betty was born in Marion Township, Michigan on March 15, 1929, the daughter of Ernest and Florence (Wise) Mitchell. She married Cecil W. Ryckman on September 16, 1950.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and animals. She is survived by her husband Cecil Ryckman, of Riverdale, MI. daughter Cecilia and James Hill, of Cocoa Beach, FL, son Cecil Ryckman, Jr., of Remus, MI, son Randy and Patricia Ryckman, of Riverdale, MI, 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, brother Roy and Bonnie Mitchell, of Marion, MI, and sister Beatrice Duvall, of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, David and Darwin Ryckman,  three brothers, Donald Mitchell, Ken Mitchell, Ernest Mitchell, and a sister, Dorothy Strahota.
Memorials may be made to Gratiot County Commission on Aging, Ithaca, Michigan and the Woodland Hospice House, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
