Beulah Ellen Case, age 85, of St. Louis, died Monday, September 21, 2009 at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Twin Cities Seventh Day Adventist Church in Alma, MI on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Oscar Montes will officiate. Burial will take place at Chapel Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
Beulah was born in Alma, Michigan on April 10, 1924, the daughter of Burton Henry Campbell and Nellie Ellen Campbell. Beulah attended Alma Schools, and resided most of her life in St. Louis. Beulah married Walter Case on April 18, 1942 in St. Louis. She was a homemaker, and also a Red Cross volunteer at Gratiot Medical Center for 20 years. She enjoyed any kind of needle crafts, including sewing and cross stitching, crossword puzzles, word searches, and reading. In the past she also enjoyed traveling and canning. She was a member of Twin Cities Seventh Day Adventist Church in Alma, MI.
She is survived by her husband Walter Case of St. Louis, MI, 4 children; Gary and Fran Case of St. Louis, MI, Dennis and Becky Case of Sumner, MI, Michael Case of Alma, MI, Nancy and Doug Smith of St. Louis, MI, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a sister Zelma Kress of St. Louis, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Richard Case, and 5 brothers.
