Beverly Bickford

Beverly June Bickford age 81 of St. Johns, Michigan died Saturday, October 23, 2004 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Max Frego will officiate and burial will take place in Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, Michigan. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
Beverly was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 5, 1923 the daughter of Louis & Frankie G. (Wheeler) Sylvester. On August 10, 1941 she married Robert E. Bickford in Ohio, Robert died January 19, 1992. She had resided most of her life in Detroit, Ashley & St. Johns, Michigan. Beverly was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and working in her flower garden and family gatherings. She was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church, The Altar Society, and helped with food for friends program.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Patricia Marie Lindholm of San Bernardino, California, Elizabeth Bickford of Madison Heights, Michigan, Teresa Louise & Duane Burl of St. Johns, Michigan, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, 1 daughter & 1 son, 1 great grandchild, 2 sisters & 3 brothers.
Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns Chapel.
