Beverly Starry

Beverly A. Starry age 77 of St. Louis, Michigan died Friday, December 9, 2005 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at First United Methodist Church St. Louis, MI on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Lillian French will officiate with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery St. Louis, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2005 from 5-7 P.M. and Tuesday, December 13, 2005 from 4-8 P.M.
Beverly was born in St. Louis, Michigan on August 31, 1928 the daughter of Clare and Helen ( Bauer ) Holton. She was a life long resident of St. Louis, Michigan and a graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1946. Beverly married Kenneth L. Starry on October 17, 1948 at St. Louis First United Methodist Church. He died December 19, 2004. She was a telephone operator for GTE, and she worked as a retail clerk for the Country Pharmacy, Rite Aid and Evans Drugs. She and Ken owned and operated Ken's Party Store. Beverly enjoyed her family, grandkids, reading, and traveling. She was a member of St. Louis First United Methodist Church and the UFCW #951
Beverly is survived by 3 children; Gregory & Maureen Starry of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Rise & Patrick Gleason of Davidson, MI, James Starry of St. Louis, MI, 5 grandchildren; Shawn, Shayne, Meghan, Kelly, and Jacob, 2 sisters, Dorothy Eff of Houghton Lake, MI, Donna & Chuck Starry of Houghton Lake, MI, special sister-in-law Aggie Starry of St. Louis, MI and special niece Diana Schueller of St. Louis, MI. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, 2 sisters; Katherine, and Florence, and brother William.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Pardee Cancer Fund. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
