Bobby Johnson

Bobby Leroy Johnson, age 57, of Bancroft, MI passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at the Perry Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Lonny Bumgardner will officiate. Burial will follow at Pine Tree Cemetery, Corunna, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday July 30, 2010 from 2-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel.

Bobby was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on May 11, 1953, the son of Bobby Leroy and Caroline Minnie (Labadie) Johnson. Bobby resided most of his life in Shiawassee County. Bobby married Diane on August 20, 1977 in Riverview, MI.

Bobby worked for GM at the Truck and Bus plant in Flint. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and boating. His family and grandchildren were the most important part of his life.

He is survived by his wife Diane Johnson of Bancroft, MI, son Jason Johnson of Novi, MI, daughter Nicole and Kevin Rogan of Ann Arbor, MI, 5 grandchildren; Jacob Johnson, Hudson Johnson, Mia Rogan, Madison Rogan and Wesley Rogan, sister Leslie and Bernard Notargiacomo of Riverview, MI, step-father Richard Knapp of Riverview, MI, brother Mike and Lori Johnson of Irvine, CA, sister Pam Johnson of Riverview, MI, brother Timothy and Karen Johnson of Fairfax, VA, and brother Kerry Johnson of Riverview, MI. Bobby is also survived by many family members and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his father Bobby Johnson and mother Caroline Knapp, 2 sons; Bobby Johnson in infancy and Ryan Johnson age 24, and brother Jeremy Knapp.
