Bonita March

Bonita Marie March age 55, of Elsie, MI, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Henry Ford Hospital, Wayne County, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI, on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.

Bonita was born in Warren, MI on December 22, 1961, the daughter of Marvin George Hoeft and Betty Jean (Portice) Smith. She married Greg March on July 24, 1987, in Corunna, MI.

Bonita enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, arts and crafts and feeding her hummingbirds.  She was employed at Lear in Elsie, MI for 16 years. Most recently she had been working at Town Tub in Elsie, MI.

She is survived by her husband Greg March, sons; Mike Hoeft and Jessica Pohl, and Steven March, sisters; Belinda and Dave Ackerman, Brenda and Alan Powers, Rachael and Chris Connelly, father in law Robert March, sister in law Cheryl March and Pete Salyer, sister in law Vickie March and Mike Price, and brother in law Brian and Kathy March. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Michael Hoeft, Tony Hoeft, and mother in law Kathleen March.
