Bonnie Sperling

Bonnie Jo Sperling age 65, of Brant, MI passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI, on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 2:00 P.M., with Pastor Jason Baldwin officiating.  Burial will take place at Marion Township Cemetery, Marion Springs, MI. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Bonnie was born in St. Johns, MI on June 20, 1951 the daughter of Galen and Lorene (Whitaker) Bashore.  Bonnie married Michael Sperling on September 6, 1969 in Ovid, MI.  She was a factory worker and a farmer most of her life. She enjoyed gardening and feeding and watching birds. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by her children; Michael Sperling, Daniel and Melissa Sperling, Kerri and Carl Angell, and Chad Sperling, grandchildren;  James and Nicole Brzak, Samantha and Duel Barror, Michael and Jenna Sperling, Nathanial Sperling, Jessica and Trent Johnson, Justin and Brandy Angell, Steven and Natiya Smith, Joshua Corrin, Nicholas Sperling, Kirsten  Sperling, Diego Cardenas, and Jozlynn Angell, and grandson on the way; Ford Sperling, 8 great grandchildren; Carter, Harley, Karmin, Maliah, Averleigh, Andrew, Jaydin, and Evelyn, siblings; Penny and Dale Kelley, Pam and Robert Davis, Debbie Reed, Gayla and Jim Clock, Bill and Barb Bashore, sister in law Connie Bashore, brother in law Fred Kelley, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson CJ Sperling, step daughter Patricia Brzak, brother Terry Bashore, sister Sandra Kelley, and brother in law Kerry Reed.
