Bradley McConnell

Bradley Leland McConnell age 63 of Prudenville went to be with the Lord, on Friday May 21, 2021.
Brad was born in Alma, Michigan on September 1, 1957 to Leland and Joan (Christensen) McConnell.  Brad was raised on a farm in Vestaburg, Michigan.  He graduated from Vestaburg High School, class of 1975 on the all A honor roll. He then built his home and farm at age 17, where he later raised his 5 kids.
Brad loved to hunt and fish, and he was great at both. He was great at everything he did.  He enjoyed taking trips with his wife and visiting his kids and grandkids. Brad was always one step ahead of everyone, had the best advice and was always the one you could depend on.  Brad and Tina retired in Houghton Lake and enjoyed their time together with all their dear friends.
Brad is survived by his mother Joan McConnell; his wife of 23 years, Tina (Norman) McConnell; his five children: Ashley (Erich) Roeder of Milwaukee, WI, Charles (Windy) McConnell of Rawlins, WY, Talia (Rudy) Boyne of Indianapolis, IN, Shelby (Trevor) Martyn of Edmore, MI, and Dillon (Rachel) Gatehouse of Big Rapids, MI; his grandchildren: Easton and Colton Roeder, Logan and Adalynn Martyn, and Andon and Oliver Gatehouse; one sister Cindy (Tom) Wright and his brother Curt (Tina) McConnell.  He is also survived by many dear friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father Leland McConnell.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, with Pastor Peter Carlson and Pastor Dan Palmer officiating. Burial will take place at Ferris Center Cemetery, Vestaburg, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis, MI and also on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service.
